Shopfront Graphics That Come Off As Cleanly As They Went On

Retail graphics are often temporary by design: a sale might run for two weeks, a seasonal display six weeks, or a launch until the stock sells through. The real cost is not just the print it is how cleanly the graphics remove and whether the glass, walls or floors are left ready for the next campaign.

PALS prints and ships the graphics. Application and removal can be handled by your shopfitter, signwriter or store team. Australia-wide shipping from $14.99.

What retail & shopfronts order most

It has to come off cleanly

Retail graphics are usually temporary, so plan the removal before choosing the print. The adhesive matters as much as the graphic. Permanent vinyl may look great on a window, but removal can leave torn pieces and adhesive residue that takes time and solvent to clean.

For short-term campaigns, removable adhesive is often worth the extra cost because it is designed to peel away more cleanly. Tell us how long the graphic will stay up and what surface it is going onto glass, painted plasterboard, sealed concrete or vinyl flooring because the right material depends on both.

How this plays out

A sale that goes up Thursday night and comes down in a fortnight

The window is usually installed after close by store staff, not a specialist applicator. Order the artwork as separate panels matched to each pane rather than one oversized sheet, making installation easier and reducing the risk of creases.

A new tenancy handed over with bare glass

The fit-out includes a privacy band, frosted panels and entry-door branding with the business name and trading hours. Because these graphics are intended to stay for the length of the tenancy, permanent adhesive is the appropriate choice.

One promotion across eight stores

Head office approves one artwork, but each store has different window dimensions. Produce the artwork to each store’s measurements and label every panel clearly by location and pane, so installation is straightforward and the correct graphic goes to the correct window.

Questions we get asked

Will window graphics damage the glass or leave residue?

Not when the adhesive is matched to the job. For graphics intended to come down within a year or two, removable adhesive is the safer choice and is designed for cleaner removal. Permanent vinyl can become difficult to remove after prolonged exposure to heat and sunlight.

Can staff still see out through a covered window?

Yes, with perforated one-way vision film. It presents a printed image from outside while allowing visibility from inside. Solid printed vinyl blocks the view, so use it where visibility through the glass is not important.

How long do floor graphics last in a shop?

Usually weeks to months rather than years, depending heavily on foot traffic and the floor surface. Use an appropriate anti-slip laminate, avoid textured or freshly sealed surfaces, and treat floor graphics as temporary promotional signage.

Do you apply the graphics in the shop?

No. PALS prints and ships, while installation is handled by your shopfitter, signwriter or chosen applicator. Australia-wide shipping is available from $14.99. For staff installation, splitting window graphics into panels matched to each pane makes larger jobs much easier to handle.
