Printing for Healthcare

Medical centres, dental practices and allied health clinics need signage that works in clean, patient-facing environments, where privacy, hygiene and easy maintenance matter. PALS prints privacy films, reception signage and floor wayfinding graphics, then ships them to your practice for installation by your own fitter.

What healthcare orders most

Privacy at eye level without losing the daylight

A privacy band should be sized to the actual glass and required sight line, not a standard size. It typically covers seated and standing eye level while leaving clear glass above to preserve natural light. Provide the pane dimensions and sill height, and the film can be produced to fit.

Cleaning is the other consideration. Where the film will be exposed to regular clinical disinfectants, specify that before production, as repeated cleaning can affect an unprotected printed surface over time.

Questions we get asked

What height should a privacy band on a consult room window be?

It depends on the room and sight lines rather than a fixed standard. The band typically covers the seated and standing eye line while stopping below the top of the glass to preserve natural light. Provide the pane dimensions and sill height, and the film can be produced to suit.

Can you supply signage that meets an accessibility or compliance standard?

PALS prints the artwork, size and material you specify, but does not certify signage against accessibility, compliance or other standards. Where a sign must meet a specific code, have the requirements confirmed by the person responsible for compliance and supply that specification with your order.
