Corflute Signs
Fluted polypropylene board for real estate, elections, events and site signage.
About corflute signs
Corflute delivers an ultra-lightweight, 100% waterproof solution at an economical price point. Direct-to-board flatbed UV printing means no vinyl peeling or bubbling, making it the industry favourite for real estate signs, event directionals, campaign promotions, and temporary job sites. The direction of the hollow flutes determines whether you can slide in wire ground stakes or enhance bend resistance against heavy winds.

Questions we get asked
Which way should the flutes run?
Choose vertical flutes if you’re using wire H-stakes, as the metal prongs slide directly into the hollow ribs. Run them horizontally for wider, freestanding signs where the internal channels provide extra rigidity against bending in the wind. Just let us know your planned mounting method and we will align the flutes to match.
What are the standard sizes?
The most popular, cost-efficient industry standards are 600 x 900mm and 900 x 1200mm—both cut with minimal sheet waste and fit standard stakes and A-frames. Custom sizes are priced the same per square meter to print, but non-standard cuts can generate offcut waste, so check with us first before committing to unusual dimensions.
How do I fix it up?
Use wire H-stakes for soft lawns and turf, zip ties through pre-punched eyelets or drilled holes for mesh fencing, and screws backed with oversized washers for solid walls. Avoid driving bare screw heads straight through the plastic without washers, as the fastener will tear through the hollow flutes the moment the wind catches it.
Is corflute recyclable?
Yes, it is made of polypropylene (polyprop), which is recyclable, but printed commercial signage is rarely accepted in standard residential council bins. For high-volume political or event campaigns, organize a post-event collection and take them directly to a commercial plastic recycler rather than sending them to landfill.
Do election signs need anything special on them?
Political signs almost always legally require an official authorization block stating who approved the ad, along with their registered address. Because layout specifications, text size, and placement rules are enforced by local electoral commissions and can change between election cycles, make sure to double-check the latest regulations before submitting your artwork.
