About this point of sale standees

Life-size and countertop standees cut to the outline of your artwork, with a strut fitted to the back so they stand without a frame. The go-to piece for a product launch, a character promotion or a retail floor display.

Questions we get asked

How do I supply the cut shape?

Draw the outline as a vector path in the same file as the artwork, on its own layer, as a 100% magenta spot colour named CutContour with no fill. If all you have is a photo or a bitmap logo, send it anyway and we will draw the path for you.

How sharp can the corners be?

A knife cut holds a true point. A router cut cannot, because the bit has a diameter and every internal corner ends up with a small radius. If your shape has fine internal detail we will either knife-cut it or adjust the path and show you the change first.

Will a standee stand up on its own?

Not without help. We fit a fold-out easel strut to the back, sized to the piece. Anything tall or top-heavy is better on a foot or a base plate, and anywhere with foot traffic or a doorway draught needs weighting as well.

Can you print both sides of a cutout?

Yes. Both faces are printed and registered to the same cut path so the outline lines up front and back. Send both artworks at the same size, mirrored correctly, and tell us which face is the front.

How do novelty cheques work?

They print on rigid board at presentation size with the amount, payee and date left blank, finished in a writable laminate so the figure can be filled in with a marker on the day and wiped off before the next presentation.
