Vehicle Graphics That Fit the Panel and Leave the Paint Alone
Vehicle graphics have to work around curved doors, swage lines, rivets and glass, not a flat sheet. Fleet vehicles are also often leased or resold, so graphics need to remove cleanly without damaging the paint.
PALS prints and contour-cuts vehicle graphics and ships them to your yard or chosen installer. Application is handled by your vehicle graphics specialist. Australia-wide shipping from $14.99.
What transport & fleet order most
Vehicle Decals & Stickers
Door sets, panel graphics and contact details contour-cut to suit each vehicle. Order a spare set with the fleet run so damaged panels can be replaced without making one vehicle look different from the rest.
Vehicle One-Way Graphics
Perforated graphics for rear and side glass. They display the branding from outside while maintaining visibility from inside, making them ideal for vans and commercial vehicles.
Reflective Stickers
For trailers, trucks, plant and vehicles operating at night. Reflective film improves visibility when illuminated by headlights, making it useful for safety and identification.
Bumper Stickers
Small, practical decals for contact details, warning notices, load information and vehicle identification. Easy to order in fleet quantities and replace when they become worn or damaged.
Boat Lettering Decals
Boat names and registration lettering cut from durable vinyl for transoms and hulls. Cut lettering is a clean choice for simple marine graphics and avoids unnecessary printed panels.
Safety Signs
Durable signage for depots, yards and loading areas, including speed limits, reversing zones and restricted-access notices. Supply your approved wording and artwork for production.
It has to conform going on and release coming off
Two things determine whether a fleet graphic is a good investment: conformability and clean removal. The vinyl needs to stretch into swage lines, around rivets and over curved panels without lifting at the high points. It should also remove from factory paint with heat and patience rather than scraping.
Cast vinyl is designed for this kind of long-term vehicle application. It costs more than calendared vinyl, which works well on flatter panels, but the extra cost is worthwhile for graphics that need to stay on the vehicle for years.
How this plays out
One more ute joining a fleet of six
The livery already exists, so the job is a reprint, not a redesign: the same door set, size and colours. But vehicle panels change between model years, so measure the actual door and panel dimensions before reordering rather than relying on an older file.
A van fitted out with a rear set
The rear of a van carries the branding customers see in traffic, so it needs the business name and phone number clearly displayed. Use perforated one-way film on rear glass to maintain visibility from inside, with standard contour-cut decals on the surrounding steel panels.
Handing a leased vehicle back
At the end of a lease or rebrand, graphics need to come off without damaging the paint. Low-quality vinyl left in harsh sun for years can become brittle, leaving adhesive residue or visible shadowing. Choosing the right removable vehicle vinyl at the start can help avoid costly make-good work later.
Questions we get asked
Will the decals come off without damaging the paint?
On sound factory paint, quality cast vinyl should remove with heat and a slow peel, with any remaining adhesive cleaned using the appropriate remover. The bigger risk is leaving the wrong film on for too long, especially in harsh sun. Repainted or recently touched-up panels also need extra care, as vinyl can lift paint that has not fully cured.
Will vinyl sit over rivets and curves?
Yes, within reason. Cast vinyl can be heated and worked into recesses and around rivets, then set as it cools. Deep compound curves and panel joins are more challenging, so avoid running decals across joins where possible, as edges can lift more easily.
How do I work out the size for my vehicle?
Measure the actual panel on the actual vehicle and provide those dimensions. Measure between swage lines and around handles rather than assuming the full door size. For fleet reprints, measuring an existing vehicle with the graphic fitted is the safest way to match the original.
Can I get a set printed and have someone else fit it?
Yes. Most fleet graphics are printed and cut by PALS, then fitted by your chosen applicator or signwriter. Australia-wide shipping is available from $14.99, with sets able to go to your depot or directly to the installer. Provide the vehicle details and the fitter’s requirements so each set can be clearly labelled.
