Printing for Industrial and Manufacturing

Signage on a working floor faces constant wear and tear—it can be hit by equipment, hosed down at the end of each shift, and exposed to intense outdoor sunlight. That quickly rules out many standard sign materials before the design process even begins.

PALS produces durable signage on metal, composite, and reflective materials, built to withstand demanding environments, and ships it directly to the site.

What industrial & manufacturing order most

The floor decides the substrate before the artwork does

Forklift impact, wash-downs, solvent splashes and prolonged yard exposure can quickly damage a printed board, making the right material choice especially important. For permanent signage, metal and aluminium composite are the preferred options, while corflute is best suited to temporary notices during shutdowns or changeovers. Tell us where the sign will be installed—indoors on a wall, outdoors on a sun-exposed gate, or in an area subject to regular hosing—and we’ll recommend the right substrate and finish for the job.

Questions we get asked

Do your safety signs meet Australian Standards?

We print the wording, symbols, colours and sizes you supply, on the material you specify. We do not certify a sign against a standard and we do not check that a layout complies with one. If a sign has to satisfy a code, confirm the specification with whoever holds safety responsibility for the site and send it through with the order.

Can I price safety signs online?

Not on the calculator. Safety signs are the one part of the metal sign range without instant online pricing, so send the sizes, quantities, material and the wording or artwork and we will price it. The rest of the metal sign range prices on the page as you configure it.
