Shaped Cutout & POS Display
Contour-cut standees, selfie frames, novelty cheques and display pieces
About shaped cutout & pos display
Any custom non-rectangular design is precision-routed or knife-cut post-printing. This includes everything from life-sized cutout standees (with easel backs) and social media selfie frames to oversized novelty novelty checks, bollard covers, modular display cubes, and bespoke promotional displays. We match the material directly to your requirements: lightweight corflute for budget-friendly displays, foam PVC (forex) for a clean, flat finish, or premium acrylic for a sleek, permanent appearance.

Questions we get asked
How do I supply the cut shape?
Add a vector path on a separate layer in your artwork file, set as a 100% magenta spot color named “CutContour” with no fill. If you only have a bitmap logo or photo, send it through and our team will trace the cutline for you.
How sharp can the corners be?
Knife-cutting achieves crisp, razor-sharp points. CNC routing leaves slightly rounded inner corners due to the rotating cutter bit. If your design features intricate interior angles, we will either knife-cut it or round the corners slightly and share a proof for your approval first.
Will a standee stand up on its own?
It needs support, so we attach an appropriately sized fold-out easel strut to the back. For oversized or top-heavy cutouts, we recommend a weighted base plate or floor stand, especially in drafty entryways or high-traffic areas.
Can you print both sides of a cutout?
Yes. We print both faces aligned precisely to the same cut contour so the edges match up front and back. Simply supply both sides at identical dimensions—properly mirrored—and indicate which file is the front face.
How do novelty cheques work?
They are printed onto rigid boards with blank fields for the date, payee, and prize amount. A dry-erase laminate finish lets you write the details with a whiteboard marker on presentation day and wipe it clean for the next event.
